My goal is to use my storytelling skills to make a difference in the world.

I’m a recent graduate with degrees in journalism and media studies. I gravitate toward stories focused on food, agriculture and people doing good in their community. My other interests include education and comedy – that’s why I blended both when I recreated a Last Week Tonight segment about Sarnia’s Chemical Valley.

My time in the newsroom equipped me with the ability to thrive in fast paced environments and follow through on deadlines. I fine-tuned my research and writing skills while working on a 30-minute investigative documentary. I love being able to take complex ideas and communicate them in an accessible way.

I worked in various communications roles within an agency, university and nonprofit. With a design thinking background, I write with relentless empathy for audiences and continuously iterate to achieve meaningful results. For more details, feel free to check out my LinkedIn.

In my free time, I’m plugged into podcasts or sharing recommendations for cool places to eat. Which probably sounds like everyone else you know. I’m an avid reader, enjoy volunteering with children, and the header image on this site is from my road trip down the coast of California.

I bring my initiative, persistence and enthusiasm to every role I’m a part of. I’m always learning and love a good challenge. Feel free to reach out and get in touch!
